General Description
A zwitterionic amidosulfobetaine detergent useful for solubilizing proteins visualized by 2D-electrophoresis, it exhibits better protein extraction properties than CHAPS. The increased solubilization produced by this detergent enables the identification of previously undetected membrane proteins.
