General Description
Isopropyl β-D-thioglucuronic acid is closely related to the lac operon inducer, isopropyl 1-thio-β-D-glalactoside. Isopropyl β-D-thioglucuronic acid is used to induce β-D-glucosidase(s) for detection of bacteriophage via chromogenic assays.
