Trypto Glucose Extract Agar is used for the cultivation and enumeration of bacteria in milk and dairy products. Meat Extract and Tryptone supply nitrogenous sources, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals. Dextrose is the main fermentable carbohydrate. Agar serves as gelifying agent.
