Description
General Description
NHS-Biotin reacts with primary amines to biotinylate proteins under mild conditions. It has been used to prepare a biotinylated cytidine as a probe in the detection of related DNA sequences, and for biotinylating myeloma cells and immunogens to form a bridge with streptavidin to improve relevant hybridoma formation.
