General Description

Source protein:                         Protein A affinity chromatography purified protein from mouse ascites fluid.

Clonality and Host Species:   GST.B6, Mouse

Immunogen and Isotype:        GST protein, IgG2a

Specificity and reactivity:       Detects native and denatured forms of purified GST or GST fusion proteins.

Application:                               Western blot, Dot blot, ELISA, IHC/IS, Western blot (with ECL) 1-5 ng of GST-tagged fusion protein.

Available form:                         50 µg of lyophilized antibody (lyophilized in 10mM PBS, pH 7.2 with 1% BSA and 0.05% Sodium azide; NaN₃).

Working procedure:                 Western blot (with ECL) 1:1000-3,000 dilution incubates for 1 hour at room temperature. For the best results, determine the optimal working antibody dilution for your protein of interest.

Storage:                                     Supplied lyophilized antibodies can be stored at -20^ºC for 3 years. Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with distilled water to 1mg/ml or a desired concentration before use. Reconstituted liquid can be stored at -20^ºC for 2 years. Centrifuge after first thaw to maximum product recovery. Aliquot into smaller volume to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.  Store aliquots at 4^ºC for several days to 2 weeks.
