General description

Chlorophenol red is a widely used pH indicator dye that changes color from yellow to violet in the pH range of 4.8 – 6.7. It is utilized as an optical transducer of acetyl cholinesterase inhibition by the analytes and also used to selectively determine chlorine dioxide in drinking water.
