General Description
Maleimide-PEG-SCM is a linear heterobifunctional PEG derivative with one maleimide group and one succinimidyl carboxyl methyl ester group, that can be used as crosslinkers or spacers between two different chemical reagents. Maleimide group selectively react with thiol (SH) groups at pH 5.0-6.5 and SCM group react with primary amine (NH2). The standard molecular weight compound supplied is 3.5kDa, however, other molecular weights: 2kDa, 5kDa, 10kDa and 20kDa are available on request.
