Eugonic Broth is a rich liquid medium recommended for the cultivation of fastidious microorganisms such as?Neisseria,?Haemophilus, and?Brucella. Casein, Meat, and Soy Peptones provide nitrogen sources for the rapid bacterial growth. Yeast Extract is a source of B-complex vitamins. Maltose is the fermentable carbohydrate. GCHI Enrichment is a supplement promoting the growth of fastidious microorganisms. Hemin and Vitamin K supply growth factors required by certain anaerobes. A small amount of Agar is added to reduce oxygen level and enhance anaerobic conditions.?
