PBS; Phosphate Buffered Saline 10X

PBS; Phosphate Buffered Saline 10x is a balanced, isotonic salt solution used for a variety of cell culture applications, such as washing cells before dissociation, transporting cells or tissue, diluting cells for counting, and preparing numerous reagents. Generally used in biological research, this water-based salt solution consists of disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium chloride and, in some preparations, potassium chloride and potassium dihydrogen phosphate.

This Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) is supplied in a 10X concentration.

0.22 micron Filter Sterilized.

Contains:

1.37M NaCl

100mM NaH2PO4

27mM KCl

18mM KH2PO4

pH 7.4
