PBS; Phosphate Buffered Saline [1X]

PBS; phosphate buffered saline is a balanced, isotonic salt solution used for a variety of cell culture applications, such as washing cells before dissociation, transporting cells or tissue, diluting cells for counting, and preparing numerous reagents. Generally used in biological research, this water-based salt solution consists of disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium chloride and, in some preparations, potassium chloride and potassium dihydrogen phosphate.

• Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) is supplied as 1X concentration.
• 0.22 micron Filter Sterilized.

Contains:

137 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, 10 mM Na2HPO4, and 1.8 mM KH2PO4 at pH 7.4
