General Description
DTSSP crosslinker (3,3´-Dithiobis[sulfosuccinimidylpropionate]) is a homobifunctional protein crosslinker that is cell membrane impermeable. DTSSP crosslinking reagent has primary amine-reactive N-hydroxysulfosuccinimide (Sulfo-NHS) esters at both ends of a cleavable, 8-atom spacer arm. DTSSP contains a reducible disulfide (thiol) bond in the spacer arm that makes it a good choice for various applications. The disulfide bond can be reduced with reducing agents such as TCEP-HCl or DTT to reverse the crosslinked proteins.
