Agar Bacteriological

Agar Bacteriological is a gel polymer, composed of galactose units extracted from different algal strains and is derived from the polysaccharide agarose. It’s melting at 85 °C (358 K, 185 °F) and solidifying from 32–40 °C (305–313 K, 90–104 °F).

Agar serves as a reliable solidification agent in microbiological culture media preparations. It is a water-soluble colloidal extract derived from specific species of marine red algae through meticulous manufacturing processes, ensuring superior quality.

Agar Bacteriological is ideal for both microbiology and molecular biology research laboratory applications. It is stored at room temperature in a sealed container to protect from moisture and light, which maintains its integrity and usability for extended periods.
